EKORESTORASI LAHAN KERING SUBOPTIMAL DENGAN FUNGI MIKORIZA ARBUSKULAR DAN PUPUK ORGANIK

Abstract


Ekorestorasi merupakan proses memperbaharui kembali dan memelihara kesehatan tanah. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ekorestorasi lahan kering suboptimal dengan fungi mikoriza arbuskular (FMA) dan pupuk organik terhadap populasi mikroorganisme tanah. Penelitian ini dirancang dengan metode rancangan acak kelompok faktorial dengan tiga ulangan. Faktor pertama yang diuji adalah inokulasi FMA yang terdiri atas tanpa FMA, Glomus sp., dan FMA campuran (Glomus sp., Gigaspora sp., dan Acaulospora sp.), sedangkan faktor kedua berupa jenis pupuk organik yaitu tanpa pupuk organik, pupuk kandang, kompos, dan guano. Inokulasi FMA campuran memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap populasi mikroorganisme tanah (total mikroorganisme tanah, mikroorganisme pelarut fosfat dan mikroorganisme pendegradasi selulosa kristalin) sedangkan aktivitas mikroorganisme (respirasi) tanah tertinggi dijumpai pada perlakuan Glomus sp. Pemberian pupuk organik berupa kompos memberikan pengaruh terbaik terhadap populasi mikroorganisme dan aktivitas mikroorganisme tanah. Penelitian ini menunjukkan ekorestorasi lahan kering suboptimal dengan FMA dan pupuk organik dapat meningkatkan populasi dan aktivitas mikroorganisme tanah.
